Hi! My name is Rumi and I am sophomore at Lake Washington High School. In addition to playing bass, I enjoy writing music, singing, playing guitar, harmonium, piano, and more. Music is incredibly important. It creates community, fosters creativity, grows friendships, and effectively serves as a language that allows anyone from anywhere to connect. For me, this is why music education is so important. As a music educator, I hope to be able to ensure that I help to promote these traits! In my free time I enjoy history, sports, meeting new people, and spending time with friends and family!
